But the company also dropped the price of its premium Meta Quest 3 headset, with the 512 GB version now costing $499.99 (was $649.99). If you don’t want to wait on the Quest 3S’s Oct. 15 launch, you can still benefit from the lineup refreshments by picking up the top-tier model today at $150 cheaper than it used to cost.Meta Quest 3$430$50014% off$430Meta’s new Quest 3 mixed-reality headset boasts double the graphical processing power of its predecessor, richer audio, and more precise controls for even more immersive VR and AR experiences.Read More$500 at Amazon (512 GB)$500 at GameStop (512 GB)$430 at GameStop (128 GB)This also means the 128 GB version of the Meta Quest 3 is being sunsetted, and while Amazon has already stopped selling that version, GameStop is offering this lower-storage version of Quest 3 for $429.99, or as low as $404.99 if you have GameStop Pro. Even at that cost, we’re hesitant to recommend anyone pick up the 128 GB model — the 128 GB Quest 3S will be more than $100 cheaper, and by all accounts, it looks to be fairly comparable feature-wise. Still, if storage is not an concern and you’re looking for something to have next week, $400 is around the lowest price we’ve historically seen the Quest 3 to date.

Bungie has some details to share with you next week.Tomorrow, September 9, is Destiny’s 10 year anniversary, a length of time that makes me greatly uncomfortable but unfortunately no amount of discomfort can change that fact. With that comes the fact that Destiny 2 will be leading the series into its 11th year, and back in June developer Bungie teased a bit of what’s to come in that time, in particular something called Codename Frontiers. The studio didn’t reveal anything specific as to what that is at the time, just that the game’s journey will continue in 2025, despite the fact its most recent expansion The Final Shape more or less wrapped up the main 10-year-long story. To see this content please enable targeting cook…

Read moreIf you’re one of the many folks that disliked the way God of War Ragnarok handles offering up helpful hints when it thinks you need them, and the PC port’s efforts to provide an option to reduce the amount it dishes out, you’re seemigly in luck. There’s now a mod that provides a bit of an anti-hint nuclear option, by getting rid of over 1,000 lines of companion chatter. You might remember Ragnarok’s plentiful hint-offering as having caused a bit of a discourse – you know the kind – around the game’s release, with some players arguing that it got a bit too heavy handed too quickly when it came to puzzles.
